Sweet Meadow Stud Mix is an appetising muesli diet
which adequately supplies the nutritional requirements of
working stallions, brood mares and
youngstock up to 3 years of age.
The formulation contains a
concentrated vitamin and mineral
supplement and good quality protein for
growth and repair. As a result of this it can
be fed at reasonably low levels, helping to
avoid rapid growth and excessive weight
gain; obviously undesirable in developing
youngstock and brood mares.
Stud mix contains elevated levels of
vitamin E, which has been shown to be
beneficial during the last trimester to help
support the unborn foal’s immune system.
Calcium and phosphorus are also present in the
recommended ratio of 2:1; necessary for healthy bone
growth.
